Raleigh Consumer and Employment Law Attorney

Kelsey Walker joined the Howard Maginnis litigation team in October of 2021, primarily focusing on consumer and employment class actions. She graduated cum laude from University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was a Senior Articles Editor of the Florida Law Review and earned the Cali Excellence “Book” Award for top performance in both the Family Law and Veterans Disability clinics.

Kelsey practiced on Legal Aid of North Carolina’s Disaster Relief Project before joining Maginnis Howard. On that Project, Kelsey represented the underserved community in Eastern North Carolina in a variety of ways, including contractor fraud disputes, landlord tenant disputes, and property disputes and transfers.

Prior to her law career, Kelsey served in the U.S. Navy for eight years and was honorably discharged as a First Class Petty Officer. She now lives in Raleigh with her two fur babies, Jack and Diane. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and listening to live music.
