Practicing Consumer Protection, Employment Law, and Business Litigation
Asa C. Edwards’ principal areas of practice include consumer protection (FCRA/FDCPA), employment law, and commercial litigation. He is admitted to practice law in all North Carolina State and Federal Courts in addition to serving as the North Carolina Chair of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, a nonprofit association of attorneys and consumer advocates committed to representing and protecting consumer’s interests.
Asa received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of South Carolina at Columbia, graduating cum laude. Prior to entering law school, he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Micronesia where he was a community development volunteer and English teacher. He received his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, graduating with honors. While at Carolina, he served as a staff member for the First Amendment Law Review, participated in the UNC Externship Program with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, served as a member of the UNC Graduate Honor Court and made the Dean’s List each semester at UNC Law.
