Anthony A. Klish

Raleigh Estate Administration, Guardianship, Wills & Trusts Attorney

Anthony A. Klish’s principal areas of practice include Estate Law and Business & Commercial Law. Concerning Estate Law, Anthony leads the firm in Estate Administration, Guardianships, and Wills & Trusts. Regarding Business & Commercial Law, Anthony assists clients with contracts, start-ups, corporate compliance, purchase and sales, and many other matters related to business operations.

A native of Charlotte, Anthony earned Bachelor Degrees in Political Science and Psychology from East Carolina University. He was the President of ECU’s Political Science National Honor Society and was as an active member of the Judicial Board. Anthony graduated from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, where he received the Law Dean’s Scholarship for all three years. Anthony served as the law school’s Chief Justice. He competed in mock trials, moot court and client counseling competitions. 

Anthony has a wide range of experiences handling legal matters. He worked with the Wake County Public Defender’s Office on cases ranging from DWIs, to felony trials where defendants faced sentences of up to life-in-prison. He worked for an estate lawyer, managing the office and assisting in the closing of estates and other probate matters. Additionally, Anthony has worked closely with other attorneys in pursuing complex lawsuits within North Carolina and other states. Anthony volunteers for Wills Clinics, including those in the past hosted by the Southern Coalition for Social Justice. Also, Anthony volunteered for the Innocence Project, where he reviewed cases and pursued defendants’ claims of innocence.

Anthony regularly gets invited to teach seminars to other attorneys and CPAs. In these classes, Anthony teaches lessons from Simple Wills, to complicated trusts, to probate and estate administration matters.

Anthony has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star three years in a row (2019-2021). 

Anthony and his better half, Amanda, love to spend their days chasing after their happy labrador, Cappy.
